Regarded as a “lively and compelling player” (the WholeNote), who plays with “ardour and panache” (Gramophone), and praised for his “passion, technical facility and explosive tonality” (Fanfare Magazine), pianist Kevin Gorman currently teaches at Dickinson College, Gettysburg College’s Sunderman Conservatory of Music, and the Cumberland Valley School of Music. In a project to record the complete piano sonatas of American composer William Bland, Kevin currently has two volumes available on Bridge Records.
Kevin received his B.Mus from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam) and his M.Mus at l'Université de Montréal. While living in the province of Québec, Kevin was awarded Grand Lauréat (1 st prize) in the Festival de Musique du Royaume in Saguenay, Québec.
